The draft Digital Services Act introduces further new regulatory approaches that focus in particular on conflicts with freedom of expression and freedom of information concerning social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Vimeo, XING, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Reddit, Twitter, etc. The draft Digital Services Act also introduces new regulatory approaches that focus in particular on conflicts with freedom of expression and freedom of information concerning social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Vimeo, XING, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Reddit, Twitter, etc. National regulatory approaches, especially with regard to social media services (e.g. NetzDG, KommunikationsplattformG) but also other platforms (TMG, MStV) will be added. The FA is to accompany this legal formation process.
